Received call about 1839 hrs. 5 Aug 2024. Against my better judgment not knowing number should not have answered. Total silence, after 6 seconds I hung up. Number now blocked. I usually don’t answer any calls unless I know them or they are in my contacts list.

Received call. Did not answer due to unknown number. Caller did not leave a message.

Did not leave message, so I immediately consider as spam. A company/organisation you’re expecting a call from would have the courtesy to leave one.

Called me and asked for David Fox .....I get 2 calls a day the same

Left a message "hello". I called back, optus advises the number is disconnected...

I answered no one spoke it hung up. I didn’t speak on the call so I know this is a spoofing attempt

I didn't answer this number as I had a similar call last week from (02) 9055 8513 (bloked). This time they let it ring out and didn't realise they were connected to my answer recorder - so I captured 36 seconds of obvious Indian accents ( or similar) and call centre back ground noise and voices on various calls. Definitely scammy. So haev now blocked this number. Will await the call from similar variant of number in a few day time !
