Scam alert, I don't have a CommBank account - SMS claiming to be CBA-verify: COMM: Use 862750 to complete your purchase of 752.00AUD to ASOS. If this was not you, please call us on (02) 9054 4565.

Posing as commbank

I received a text message which gave a 6 digit pin for a $900 to approve purchase at Harvery Norman. The mobile number it came from was hidden, but said it was from COMM. It said if this wasn't you call (02) 9054 4565 and there was a link you could click on to make the call. I actually instead just called the number normally form my phone, and the message sounded very similar when you call Commonwealth Banks. I then called the real bank phone number (on hold for at least 45 mins), but they confirmed there has been no attempts to to purchase anything from Harvey Norman. SCAM.

Didn't bother calling as it was definitely a scam.

was used as part of a scam text purporting to be from IKEA.

Caller: Says Coles transaction and sent a pin.

They sent a text from another number with a pin = told me to complete my coles transaction i needed that pin. If not me to call that number to verify. Total Scam.
