Caller: Energy Direct

Scam about a competition I allegedly entered. Also numbers (02) 9053 9633, (02) 9053 9656 - and more - every time I block them they pop up with a new number......

Scam call. Block it. If you dial it back it says "the number you have dialled is not in service". There should be a law against this.

Calls every day from different numbers beginning with 9053 963 (nos. 2 - 7 Inclusive) for one month

I answered and they hung up straight away. I had other calls recently which I assume are from the same person because only the last 2 digits were different. They ended with 33, 56 and 35.

Caller: Energy Connect

Saying I’ve been shortlisted to win a Coles voucher for $500.
They had my mobile number and email address, but completely incorrect postal address!! I did not go ahead and disclose any more information. SCAM!

I called back the number (02) 9053 9637 and reached vm that said I reached Seek The Deal

saying Energy Connect and that entered competition for iPhone or Coles Gift Card. Then they want further details. I enter reputable (with state permit numbers from known organisations) competitions and know I didn't enter to win anything like this
