Caller called to say there was a problem with my computer, obviously this was a bogus call.

They call to pretend you have a problem with your internet, get you to download some files so they can hack into your computer and steal from you. Do not answer from this number

Thanks for the info. Receiving endless calls like this - so do not answer numbers not recognised - and they never leave a message.

Said they were calling from Telstra technical department and they were going to disconnect the internet for the next 5 hours. saying there are many faults happening ... He then got told to stop lying and I hung up - Scam call 100%

Rang , I answered ,silence then , ''goodbye'' Ratbags ,often get these and similar calls regarding Computer/NBN problems that need to be fixed. A pain in the bum as often having an afternoon nap when they call.

Just received a call, said he was calling from Telstra and I had a problem with the connection with my computer and when I told him I didn’t own a computer he told me I should go and die!!
