Someone claiming to be from PayPal.

This number had been calling me and because of the comments saying this is a scam I hadn't answered, but I finally answered and it was actually PayPal! My account was overdrawn and they were calling to get the funds deposited since my balance was negative. The guy on the phone was really nice and just confirmed my name and I let him know that I had already deposited the amount just this morning (after reading that it was PayPal calling on this page I thought I better get around to doing it because I kept forgetting). I let him know I got a confirmation email from PayPal that it will take 3-5 days to finalize and he checked on his system and confirmed I had added $89.99 (i never told him how much, he knew the exact amount) and that it should be finalized in a few days then he said have a great day, and that was it. So it's not a scam, it's PayPal making sure their debts get repaid

I believe this is actually a call centre working for multiple companies. They are affiliated with PayPal to collect negative balances. I never give them details but if my paypal falls into red for any reason these are the people that call.
They are relentless though, extremely pushy and a little rude. I always just say "I'll fix up my balance on the app" after a few tries they leave it alone.

Number has called me twice in the last house and hung up.

This number repeatedly calls and calls, I don’t answer numbers I don’t know but when they leave a voicemail nothing makes sense and it’s a scam.

Claiming to be from PayPal when they asked who are they speaking to I said you rang me so you should know they said we need to confirm I said you say my last name then I’ll say my first and they hung up scam

I keep getting calls from this number. I answered once and it just hung up. Since then, the calls have been happening multiple times a day. I blocked the number in my phone but I keep getting records of this number trying to call. They just won't stop!

Me: what is this about?
Them: This is about paypal ma'am
Me: no, what is this about?
Them: to tell you I need to know who I am speaking to
Me: if you're calling you know who it is
Them: well is this _________?
Me: who is this? I need to confirm who I am speaking with to confirm my name.

They then hung up.

Caller: Energy, then internet company

Dont answer. Called and hung up, another day were from energy company, another day my internet account will be disconnected. Calls all day everyday.

tried to get me to verify myself i just kept saying i do not believe you are from pay-pal yes mam yes mam im from pay pay i said i believe your a scam she no no im from pay pal i said why would pay pay ring me kept back and forth told them do they realize not all western people have lots of money and said i know you are poor but your karma will come back to you badly date called was 2 pm 10.06.2021
