I phoned back and a recorded message said leave your number and press the pound key. This identifies it's a scam because Australians don't have pound keys, we have the hash key. No business or person name. Do scammers get given free telephone numbers?

No message left so no need to return call to scammers!

I did not answer and they didn't leave a message. Clearly dodgy!

I signed up for a free stock report email subscription and I missed a call from them every couple of days. I was getting the message when calling back with the 'press pound' but this time I called back and I think they were trying to get me to sign up for 'extra help' which in my mind set off alarm bells for money grab so I told him I was fine with just the emails.
