Caller: Some Indian guy

Some guy with poor English offering cheap solar panels - he knew my name and I'm on the do not call register. I suspect cyanenergy is handing out my details to all their cold calling buddies because I've had non stop sales calls since I made an enquiry about a govt subsidised hot water tank through them.

This number is getting around me blocking it on my mobile phone. I wont answer it, and they ring at least once a day

They ring at least 5 times per week for last 4 years from different numbers, I tell them constantly that I already have Solar panels and they never take me off the list so must be scammers or very stupid Indians.

(02) 9044 2946 keeps calling. When answered they just hang up. If you ring back, you are transferred to an answering service and placed on hold. I suspect it is a Premium Call charge redirect scam. As you pay by the minute and some services are up to $5.50 per minute, you could haemorrhage money pretty quickly.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Caller: Someone with an Asian accent trying to sell cheap solar panels

Knew my name (not sure how, plus I’m on the Do Not Call register) and said they were in my area tomorrow and wanted 5 minutes of my time at my house to discuss solar panels. I said no thank you as I already have them. He then tried to continue the conversation by asking about the efficiency of them. I said they were very efficient and I often have enough credits that I don’t have to pay my power bill. He tried yo engage further, but I hung up after asking my number yo be removed from their call list.

Received call from this number. Did not answer. Came here, found the comments. Number now blocked

Phone filtered incoming call as spam. Caller did not leave a message.

Ive even blocked this number on my phone, and I am still getting messages saying "i have a missed call from them"
How can they get around a number block????

Very keen on visiting us at home to talk about cheap solar panels and some sort of Government subsidy. Insistent and annoying. They phone regularly despite us saying every time that we are not interested, and they are only wasting their time.
