Caller: Bible Society Australia

They usually call me during noon time. It’s a company called Bible Society Australia. They’re also in connection with Koorong bookstore. Infinally answered just to see who’s been calling and they’re asking if you’d like to make a monthly donation for their cause which is to give away free books. They’re polite and I told them I can’t make a donation and the call ended well.

I have been missing calls from this number. They keep calling at around 6pm, right when I'm driving home. They never leave a message & never answer if I ring back

Yes, I got a call from this number saying they were Amnesty International. Sav's comment above, saying they are 2evolve looks right. They had details of my past contributions to Amnesty, address details etc.

You can request to have your details removed from their database via email on contacts @ 2evolve.com.au (this information is as per their privacy policy on their website). Saves an annoying phone call and hopefully gets the message across - I've just sent an email after being contacted by them every day for weeks, only time will tell if it works

You can call their company on (02) 8114 9700 and ask to be taken off their lists. I got fed up with them so started googling and when I called they sorted it out. Only just did it so time will tell if they actually take me off their database.

I am currently being called every single day by this number. I have donated to Amnesty in the past, but stopped three years ago. Really annoyed about this. Need to work out how to add them to my bar list.

I had a similar situation to those above. I then rang the toll free number (from their website www.2evolve.com.au) 1300 364 170 and requested that they remove my number from their Medicine Sans Frontier list. I hope it works.

I'm on the governments Do not Call register. It makes no difference as they claim they are non-profit.

I get calls from this number too. It is number that operate a few charities from what I have been able to gather. They call me at all hours of the day and evening. I don't answer it and they never leave a message on my home number either. You would think that after months of not answering they would get the hint and not ring me. I have even taken the steps to leave a messong on my answering machine that say"....... if you know me ring my mobile other wise thanks for the call". Yes they do ring my mobile and I don't know where they got that number from, but I still don't answer it. Get the hint: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!

They call me on average once a day around 6pm but i just received a call today around 1pm... very annoying.. i am going to try and have the number barred from my phone.

I received a call from this number and another number whilst I am currently overseas. I'm not bothered, as I will just make the numbers go straight to voicemail. As I once worked for a company who did similar work - 'warm calling' people who have donated to certain charities - I know that such organisations are excluded from the Do Not Call register. Many people are not aware of this, so it can be extremely frustrating. If you want them to stop calling, you just have to ask to have your details removed from their system. If you get any future calls from other companies, just firmly state that you "do not wish for the call to continue", (they're magic, trust me), and that you would like your information to be removed from their system.

Same story as everone else. keep calling same time, I don't answer random calls because i know professionals leave messages and friends are listed by name in my phone. I won't rush to answer it knowing this now. Thanks everyone

Calling my mobile EVERY DAY, i won't answer though and they never leave a voice mail... always call at the most inconvienient times

I get a call from them every day about 6pm, and never answer the phone. This has been going on for about 2 months, you'd think they'd get the hint seeing as I never answer.

oh dear, just got a call from this number...should be a fun few weeks...

They are still at it - missed calls to both my mobile and my wife's. No answer if you call back. I'm also on the DO NOT DISTURB register but doesn't seem to bother this mob.

I have had over one hundred missed calls from this number! I came online to google the number (02) 9032 5689) and have now found I am not the only one getting harassed by this number. I too get the msg ftom 2evolve. I donated to a charity 2 years ago. Is this what people do when you show a little generosity. Give an inch and this companies want a yard! digraceful and annoyning!

This is not just Amnesty International. I have never had any dealings with Amnesty. I have, however, previously contributed to Greenpeace so I think this organisation operates for more than one business. I cancelled my membership but apparently it doesnt stop them harrassing you. My calls have gone from every day to about once a month now. I just ignore it.

They've just started with me today when I was in a meeting at work! Will have to see what I can do about them... hmm....

I just called 2evolve and asked to be taken off all their contact lists. Wish me luck.
