Caller: ING Bank

They claimed to be from ING wanting to talk about my banking. But wouldn't tell me what it was in reference to until I hand over all my personal details which I'm not going to do.

They call and leave no message or speak so fast it's hard to understand them.

I called back number (02) 9018 5314 reached IVR for ING.

This number has been calling me regularly over the course of a month. I'll ring ING and see if they have been trying to contact me but no picking up due to concerns from other posters above.

Called me claiming to be with Westpac, said there was a charge on my credit card for $5000. I asked for the card number which they wouldnt provide. I told them that without them providing my card number we couldnt continue. man threatened to send the FBI to my house.

Caller: Claimed to be ING

I have received two calls from this number three days apart. They asked me to confirm my details without telling me why they were calling. The first caller had a vague accent and I just hung up after they asked for my full name and date of birth. The second caller sounded clearly like an Australian woman however, I told her I was uncomfortable providing my details when someone had called me rather than me calling them. She said that is fine and that I can google this (02) 9018 5314 number and it will show that it is ING. She then said that if I was still uncomfortable that she can send me a text confirming the contact number o be from ING or that I could call ING from their main 133 464 contact number however, it would just take longer to get through.
I obviously didn't receive the text.

from ING they gave me a 1300 number to google when I mentioned the call sounded like scam. The number is 1300 349 166 and when I google it says financial difficulties. I wont be calling back.

Claimed to be from ING, asked for full name / DOB but didn't provide to them. Asked them for a number I can call them on and he provided the ING contact number.
