When I picked up and said hello there was complete silence, but when I listened really carefully I could smell bad breath. I answered, but no-one spoke back. Caller: Vodafone
Picked up and took a while to answer back. Vodafone Offering new plan, didn’t feel safe giving details over the phone. Told them I would go in store
I called back number (02) 9015 3806 reached IVR for Vodafone. Caller: Maybe Vodafon
Asked for my 4 digit pin straight away. A reputational problem, as caller had an Indian accent. If companies are legit, they should know by now the consequences of an Indian accent.
They’ve tried to call me 5 times in the last day Tell me why our carriers cant block these idiots...They are using Aussie numbers ...and they are doing nothing about it...forget climate change...i want my my security back on my phone... Answered the call, received high pitched screech, so I hung up Caller: I don't know
glad of these reports -- I don't pick up numbers I don't know these days -- I'll check in their shop
Caller: Said they were from Vodafone.
Called offering deals, and asked for my pin.
I said I would call Vodafone.
Caller: Some c*nt
I looked it up its one of vodafones contact numbers it is listed on their website its for new offers to their Vodafone customers Caller: Don't know
Called me twice in consecutive days. When I answered a silence. I did not speak again as I suspected a robocall. I have now blocked the number. Thanks to the forum for identifying this number as an issue.
Unknown I didn't answer but they have tried to call me yesterday afternoon and twice today, so I checked this website and have now blocked them. I have worked in many call centres in Melbourne alongside Indian colleagues on the desks next to me who cop at least 50% more abuse than the rest of us, every. single. day. Please be kind and simply ask where they are based if thats important to you. Caller: Vodafone Advertisements
100% Spam. I called back to tell them to stop calling me but they continue to call me for adverts. How is this even legal for vodafone.
no answer when call received. Caller: Vodafone Australia
Called asking me to change my phone account.
I declined simply because I had no proof that this was in fact Vodafone and not a scammer.
Only afterwards did I cross check the call number with the List of phone numbers I found on the Vodafone Australia Website.
Title of page is "Phone numbers and email addresses we use to call, SMS and email our customers"
Seems to be a Legit Customer Service number, but who is going to deal with anyone who cold calls from a unknown number with a Indian Accent simply due to the number of Scam calls originating from India.
But don't believe me, I'm just a random internet comment, check with Vodafone for yourself.
They said they were from"Waterfall" and that I had an account with them. I said I have no account with "Waterfall" and I hanged up. I now realise he was trying to say "Vodafone". Haha
