Definitely not Vodafone because they straight up asked for my pin when I picked up the call… if they are calling you then they should already have your info and not need to request about anything that is your info, it doesn’t help when you call the help desk 1300 650 410 where it sounds like they have looped some kind of background noise.

It's listed as a vodafone number, yes, but scammers have cloned the number. Vodafone have said multiple times that they don't ask for your pin, straight away, like all these peoplr have had done. Vodafone refuses to change/update the number. If YOU call this number, you'll get the real company. If THEY call you on this number, it's the cloned number, as they know nothimg about you

I phoned Vodafone and they advise they will only ever call from a mobile number - never a landline, so definitely a scam.

Spoofed number, it's listed as Vodafone but is not them. Here's why..
They called my phone, picked up as usual and they asked me for my Vodafone pin.

I'm with Telstra.

Lol.

I received a call from (02) 9015 3801 but when I answered there was no sound, so probably a robocall. I checked the Vodafone web site and this number is listed as one of their many Customer Care numbers, though it may be from an affiliate (contractor/call centre) rather than Vodafone direct. If it is a spoofed number then it would be a scam. In any case, they don't need to call me, I am a customer and they have my number and email on file, so if they really want to contact me they can do it by text or email.

A guy from India, apparently from Vodaphone, very unprofessional call, first thing he asked me is my pin. He was telling me that as a valued customer he will be sending me a free IPAD but first I will have to confirm the pin. So dodgy who would give you a free IPAD these days??!.. He wouldn't want to communicate about anything until I will tell him my pin..So I ended the call...I think its a scam and if it was Vodaphone, they should give their employees some proper training!

Received a call and when I answered and said hello, I was met with the hang-up tone.

Caller: Blocked Call

This number is obviously spoofed by scammers. How do I know?, the number was automatically blocked by my phone, recognised as a scam call. Vodafone wouldn't block their own calls that would defeat business. As I have said on many occasions, the simplest explanation is more often than not the actual truth. No $#!? Sherlock.

Caller: Claimed Vodafone but as a VF customer of many years, fakw

I’m a long time Vodafone customer and any time they have contacted me about offers it’s been through text from their official text number or emailed. There are lot of email scams using seemingly legit Vodafone email addresses. I regularly check their scam alert page too.m

even if it is vodafone, they should NOT be doing this, and it is all just to try to sell you other plans.
Don't answer because the way they do this is so unprofessional and risky!

I have been called been called 6 times from this number in 5 days, i have now blocked it, they said they were from Vodaphone offering a better deal and i said no thank you and then she got a little rude and i hung up, i then ignored the rest of the calls. the reason i have come to the conclusion that it is a scam is because they would not proceed to call you this much if it was a real deal. SCAM SCAM SCAM, block this number. The last call (i didn't realise it was the same number) i didn't hear a voice just beeping.

After I answered one of many calls from this phone number. Then something happened, I have been received phone calls from strange numbers and they said I called them but I didn’t. Now I am worried

I got a cold call form this number. I thought it was Vodafone as he claimed, as he spoke in Chinese and he knew my surname. He said there was some issues with my mobile number and would cancel my service. I became suspicious and interrupted him to ask his full name and work ID at Vodafone, he said he was Joe Song. His work ID was 0518, then he did not want to continue and hung up on me. I felt so violated and I am very wary about how did this scammer got my name and phone number??????????
