I just got a call from this number. They asked for a staff member who I said to them is on leave. The lady said she was from TPG Internet and wanted to speak to her (the staff member) about an unpaid invoice.

Where I work we don't use TPG Internet so I am very sceptical

yes definitely from Soul,always bugging me with calls around 9am.I never pick up anymore,i'm not interested in what they have to say.If they want to send me offers use the post.

I called back number (02) 9007 7000 reached IVR for a company called Sole Communications.

Just got a call from this number about my 'outstanding September invoice'; checked my account online and I don't have any outstanding invoices.

99.5% sure it's a scam.

i got a call from this number & they told me i owed them $39,249 from an over due acc from 2004 i told them i never even had an acc with soul , it is now 2013 and after 6yrs they are still calling me after i got a court judgement to have the default removed from my veda file
just make sure you organise a translator befor you speak to these people it will save a hell of alot of head ache

I just had one. Picked up the phone and said Hi and all I heard was noise in the background. Waited a minute and they still didn't say anything so I hung up.

I've had many calls from this mobile telephone service provider. I was with a telephone company which was bought out by the caller. Since then, they call very regularly and attempt to give me a new package without a contract at a much lower price. What you have to do is in my case is to arrange for direct debit payment one month in advance. Perhaps I'm old fashioned. Maybe just getting old. I prepay my account each month as it is. I'm happy with that. My account arrives each month with zero owing.

who is this number

I too received two calls from this number within a ten minute span.  I also received a text supposedly from tpg saying what I spend on my monthly phone bill.  It was incorrect and I ignored it.
