Received an email aout a suspicious transaction and a call from this number, got onto live chat and turns out IT IS LEGIT from HSBC fraud detection. They stopped a dodgy payment going through.

Received an email aout a suspicious transaction and a call from this number, got onto live chat and turns out IS LEGIT from HSBC fraud detection. They stopped a dodgy payment going through.

WARNING: I received an email purportedly from HSBC fraud asking me to call this number because of suspicious activity on my account. I confirmed with HSBC via a separate HSBC customer number that they had not sent the email it is a scam.
