I called back number (02) 9003 4366 reached voice mail for a company called meals on wheels. Meals on wheels charity telemarketer. Persistent. If I want to donate to a charity I'll do it direct. Some say this is re Meals on Wheels - a very worthy organisation. Yes, I can see the point of those complaining as, unfortunately, the organisation has to rely on making cold phone calls soliciting donations and because most people nowadays don't do anything for nothing portion of what is donated goes to the caller. Keep in mind people, that one day YOU might need this service. Caller: Meals on Wheels Australia
((02) 9003 4366
(02) 9003 4366 is a landline number based in Australia. It is operated by SingTel Optus. Owner Name : FUNDRAISERS MEA
International Dialing Format : (02) 9003 4366 | National Format : ((02) 9003 4366
Answered and it was FUNDRAISERS MEA on behalf of "Meals on Wheels".
Did not fall into their trap. Meals on Wheels Australia is a wonderful organisation feeding a lot of our elderly who still live at home and usually on their own.. They usually advertised on TV and some ads ask for future donations. If you are passionate about this type of charity, please donate directly to them!
For example https://nswmealsonwheels.org.au/Donate/Donate-Now.aspx is the NSW "Meals on Wheels" direct donation line.
Just a waste of time
If people wanna donate they know where to go...
Meal on wheels cold caller. Yep... that's correct. Don't blame them if you're not happy with the legislation. Do Not Call register is for cold call advertising from businesses, not-for-profits are exempt. Missed their call, phoned back and got a message it was meals on wheels phoning about a fundraising raffle. Charity Telemarketer - bloody annoyance!!!! Now its bloody meals on wheels . Sick to death of these cold calls . gimme gimme. they just want your money and they are persistent because the seller themselves gets paid for getting you to part with your cash. I really want to be rude but i just politely decline. For how much longer i can continue to be polite is a big question. I'm guessing not very long GRRRRR! Caller: looks like its Meals On wheels,
Not another one - only just got off the list of another organisation who had become very annoying and now today the first of from this one.. How long before the next call. Luckily we didn't pick up.

Starting early in the day, always give time and money directly to this fine organisation would not give this way as they only get a small percentage of your donation people calling get to to take the lions share.
Meals on Wheels mentioning raffle tickets. Said I didn't go in for raffles. See from other comments that this isn't that charity itself but a commercial fundraiser, whom I NEVER support because of the huge slice of donations they take. Asked whether there was a website and said I'd take a look at that and consider what I might do from there. Caller: As above
Not legit meals on wheels, see comment from Iggy43 above (thank you!). Love love meals on wheels, a fantastic charity. But when I donate I want to be sure all of it goes to them, not the telemarketing company.
no need to answer spam spam spam Caller: Presumably charity calling on behalf of Meals on Wheels
People, this is what voice mail & answering machines are for; you can use it to take a message or screen your calls if it's an unknown number, or unexpected call.
I always screen my calls so I don't have to be rude & abusive to people I don't want to talk to & then whine about it online!
I don't begrudge charities trying to fund their noble cause, I just don't have any money & don't take calls from strangers.
Tried answering and they hung up Caller: Meals on Wheels.
I am sick of getting these people asking for money. I know this a good cause. I might start up my own charity and ask people to help out a poor old "single pensioner" because our coalition government surely won't. Charity start's at home.
Caller: Meals on Wheels
They do not pay for our phones ... should not be able to ring us.
the sad part about these so called Charity Calls is that the person who rings you is getting paid ...another number I put a block on.
