Claimed to be calling Telstra and they said they were in Melbourne, yet it’s a Sydney number, went on with some rubbish about my mobile data & IP address when I asked them for my Account number they hung up!

Caller: Scammer Claimed to be from Telstra, gave out fake Telstra email address, ID numbers and addresses. Wanted me to download remote access software. Hung up on me as soon as I started questioning him.

Caller: Scammer Advised were from Telstra getting errors from my router. Asked if that information was correct and hung up when I said no.
