Received a call from 'them' last night. Left some garbled incomprehensible message on my voicemail. They tried again but from a different number (02) 8956 7000.

tell them to stop call and when I answer they are not there.

i dialed the number also, and it too was busy

Got a call from them on a mobile number that was mine about 10 years ago, and has been since changed to my wifes name.  They still ask for me however, so this stinks of a hacked old database and a scam.

I just answered a call from this number (02) 8956 0300....offering me free $30 credit because my sim is about to 'expire'....all they wanted was my date of birth - I didn't give it to them of course, so I got nothing but rudeness and an abrupt reminder to recharge my account. I believe it is a scam...anyway I REFUSE to ever give out info over the phone..even for $30 free credit.

I'm guessing it's Optus
