Has called a number of times over the last week
I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to answer any number that is not in my Phone Book.
I just really want to know how thaey got my number. I am very very careful not to advertise my number.
Rang on three occasions through the day and once again at 7.30pm. Doesn’t leave a message. I called the number back and says it’s Engine market research Had a missed call from this number. No message left and the number is not known to me - I live in Victoria. The number is NSW number. Didn't ring back. Rang twice on different days and didn't leave a message Keeps calling in evening around dinner time and hangs up when I answer. these companies use random phone number generators to decide who to call, thats how they got yours. also, as it's a survey company (not a charity or salesperson) the do not call list does not apply to them, the only way to get off the company's list is to answer the call and ask them to take you off it Caller: SCAM
They've called twice now (1 week apart), late at night and did not leave a message.
I have seen from other call recipients that they've claimed to be both a Tourism Research service and the ATO.
Marketing companies are not allowed to call during graveyard hours, and a Tourism company should not be calling in the middle of a global pandemic.
As for the ATO, all numbers used by Services Australia Departments are automatically self-ID'd, and again, do not call during graveyard hours.
The fact that they've claimed to be at least two different entities would suggest that they are phishing for information.
Do not answer calls from this number, and block if possible.
Missed call, no message. Blocked - too many scammers to let them ring again even though they are from Engine Market Research. Claims to be Engine. Short travel survey. Then asks personal questions re postcode, suburb, phone service carrier - no idea why this is needed for a travel survey, age group, how many people live here and total income for family etc. Seems to be a fishing exercise. Caller: Australian Government
I answered some Indian sounding woman said "hello I from the Australian Government" so I hung up. I've had calls from Ebay charging my card account twice a call from Telstra almost got scammed with that one the first time round all up I've had 7 weird calls in the past two months. Telstra do not call unless you initiate the call first the spam/scam calls are rife right now. Be careful people
I just registered my number on this to reduce telemarketing.
Spam Three calls, three consecutive days all around the same time. No message left. Caller: Australia government
This is a scam caller. I answered , didn't say anything. The message replayed

Didn't pick up. Assumed it's spam. Called a few times these days. When answered, hang up. It is very annoying.
