The person in question is Christian Berry from Business Telecom and I for one will be making a formal complaint to ACMA as I would suggest the rest of you do. He has harassed my staff making claims of previous communications and is extremely rude. When asked to removed our number from his database he laughs and hangs up.

Telemarketer called claiming they had spoken with our company 12 months ago about switching telephone providers but we were in contract at that time. Clearly a lie as my company is a *reputable* business telephony provider and we would therefore never express an interest to switch to another company. Simply a lie to try to engage the conversation. Unscrupulous behaviour.

Business Telecom: asked for previous owners by name. I responded not here,(they retired), good bye cause you can tell "Jimmy" was a nuisance call. He called three times, consecutively, & when I said no he can not talk to the boss, who was standing right beside me listening, he said he was going to call the person he originally asked to speak to to complain about me!!!! Finally, I annoyed an unwanted caller rather than the other way round!!!

Amanda from Business Telecom said she was following up on the previous call - which never happened. Scam...

Received a call from this number. It was a lady with an American accent. She said they're from Capital Centre and wanted to help me earn a 2nd income online. Sounds fishy to me!

Cold calling; Calls himself Vince now. He lies and says he's returning a call from people he's never spoken to. Becomes pushy and rude when he realises he's not getting through.

Same as everyone else, cold calls to inquire about our phone system.

He rang, wanting to speak to one of our Directors, by name. Told him he was away and would pass on Christian's call on his return. In spite of previous message, he called the very next day saying he had spoken with said Director in August, and the Director told him to call in October.
Interesting as my Director had indicated, earlier in the year, he would be away all of October!!!!!! Maybe my Director cloned himself.

I always get a 'John Carroll' from this number. Claiming he has spoken to one of our directors already about our business phone line. They tried to get through by using a different person to make the call. They must think I'm stupid!

But I work reception so I can't be rude like they are.

Agree with the comments of "anonymouse as well". A member of my staff just received the same treatment and was told that I must speak to him because "it is compulsory'.

Constantly calls asking for our Director saying he is returning his call... But he is lying... Just hang up on this annoying pest

I have the same complaint as everyone else here. Christian called from "Business Telecom" asking to speak to one of our directors, whom he had the name of. I put him on hold for a minute for fun and then let him go.

Just had that number call my mobile and a Asian lady asked me if this was our business and then hung up - am going to block it and 8898 1451

Cold calling is hard work- if you suck at it. "Christian" sucks at it which is why I hung up on him today, (again apparently). Free advice; hang up, he'll just go to the next number on the list.

Just had Christian rudely asking for our MD by name and claiming he's 'returning his call' he said he's from Business Telecomms and wouldn't give surname. He gave his number as 8898 1451. Adding to this message board so others can ignore this rude, waste-of-time jerk.

Check out ACMA regarding Cold Callers laws. Not only can you file a complaint, you can have him fined if he continues breaking the law.
