Confirming business details for business to business contact but wouldn't give full details on which businesses they were confirming details for. Had mostly correct details, not that I would confirm or deny anything as they wouldn't. Goose/gander =)

Rings up asking if certain details regarding the business owner were correct then abruptly hung up.

Spam call - asking to confirm our details. When asked who they were, they abruptly hung up.

This is a data base company who rang to confirm detail off address etc, which is information they can obtain from our website. I am guessing they sell this information. The website that came up in my search is: http://www.impactlists.com.au

Called to confirm business name and manager. When I asked what is this for they kept repeating for Reach DM - Decision makers and asking to confirm details then hung up when I wouldn't say yes.

Answered a call from (02) 8880 6345. Indian lady with very thick accent was trying to "confirm the postal address" of our company. When I asked the lady what the call was with regards too, she hung up on me. I called back and an automated voice message said I had called "InfoGroup". Left a message asking for them to remove us from their calling list.

Rang and hung up when answered

I missed who the caller was from. Caller was confirming business details. Spoke quickly and with a thick accent. Call lasted 52 seconds.

Called back and recorded message advised it is the Info Group calling to update company details, all operators busy at present. Call received on my private mobile number.

Identified herself as being from ReachDM, but a Google search showed the company to be in Victoria (03 area code). Asked to confirm my manager's details and our business address, at which point I terminated the call. Suspect it was a scammer pretending to be from the genuine company.

could possibly from bogus advertising company checking address to send out fake invoices for publications, with dodgy names, that are similar to genuine groups.
