Caller: Energy Australia???

The caller had an Indian accent, knew my name, obviously had my land line number and address. She purported to be calling from Energy Australia and advised that I was eligible to be supplied with LED 60w globes and that someone would be in contact with me with respect to supply. This number showed up in the caller ID. I won't be taking the next call!!

Nuisance calls piss me off. That’s why I keep a whistle near the phone. Works a treat

Scam calls or they would leave a message

Missed call. No message left. When I tried to call back they hung up.

Strong Indian accent. She had my mobile number and knew my address. She said they were coming to my suburb on Monday to replace my lights with LED. I asked how she got my number and she said they are working with the NSW government. I said I was not interested.

Rang today,no message- obviously cold call selling something

Someone named Turdieus Longplope asking about my power bill.

Also get calls on home phone and they just hang up and don't leave a message on the answering machine.

Alleged she was working under a government scheme to supply LED lights. I asked why she was calling me when my number is listed on the Do Not Call register? She said "That does not apply to us because it's a government scheme". I immediately terminated the call.

This number's been ringing me many times today, hung up when answering machine cut in and never leaves a message.

Caller: Scammers

Can Optus or Telstra get rid of these scammers renting homes and then hanging up.
You are the biggest companies, and stop think of your pockets.
You probably can workout who these scammers and dirty annoying people.
I don’t get caught with these rotten people who may or may not trying to scam people.
My suggest who rings with this number go out and get a job like septic tanks dirty people cleaning dirty septic tanks.

Keep receiving calls. They don’t leave a message so assume it is a scam or trying to sell something. Took a previous comments advice and have now blocked the number on my mobile but they have also called on landline.

Did not answer call from (02) 8880 0372 but this call was preceded by call from (02) 9126 5536
where foreign lady asked if I had obtained free LED globes. She hung up when I asked on
whose behalf she was calling.

This number's been ringing me at least 5 times since yesterday and today. Never leaves a message. Won't ring back. Don't recognise number. f*ck'em!
