It's funny they don't ask for your name but they tell you are in trouble for Tax evasion

2 calls on consecutive days from different operators, both virtually impossible to understand but we got the meaning, they both got our answering machine so we didn't get to chat.

Same here, claiming to be a warrant out for my arrest over tax evasion.. Sat 27th May Melbourne. Idiots!

Called me twice for the same thing. Obvious scam

Received a message from this number telling me to call back before they issue a warrant for my arrest over a tax evasion and tax fraud matter that they are going to take to the "Commonwealth Court", very un-Australian accent, did not identify where they were calling from. I think this is a scam call.

Called threatening a relative saying they're from the Australian Taxation Office, relative owes $7,000.00 in 30 minutes, or the Police will be called. Said their name was James Middleton. Called the number myself on 3 different occasions, each time a different person picks up (Indian, a Middle-Eastern, and one who speaks English as 1st language....but...speaks...it...slowly), and all the say is Australian Tax Office. Each time I ask for a Tax Identification Number of them, and they hang-up. If you get a call from them, record it, and then report them to ATO Scam Line on 1800 008 540

just had the same number with very foreign accent telling me it was taxation department and they were issuing a warrant for my arrest, I said I would call the police and check and they hung up on me. SCAM for money

Left the same exact message twice, about tax evasion and issuing a warrant for my arrest! Oh no!! I'm soooo scared
