This is a SCAM and just filling up my voicemail they will get a call from my lawyers if they answer

Scam ATO call regarding a criminal case against your name. They want you to call back or they will start legal proceedings? SCAM

Phone scammers claiming to be the ATO and threatening legal action for criminal charges of fraud and tax evasion if you don't call them back. Even leaving messages on the answering machine!

This number left message on my answering machine from some Headquarters (name before not heard). Stating that there was a criminal case in my name for tax evasion and tax fraud and to ring (02) 8880 0254, even was so kind as to repeat the number for me. And to be prepared for serious legal consequences if my side or my lawyers side (wouldn't that be the same side) didn’t get in contact ASAP.
Spoken in what sounded to be a fake American accent. Or a 'trying way too hard to be American' accent.
Looked up tax fraud scams and a similar thing came up only they were using a different telephone number.

Please beware and let all your family members know, especially the elderly ones know not to give them any details no matter how much they pester.
