Caller: Scam caller I did not answer, but can see above that it is a scam Accor caller; as someone who is a member; it does not cost money to become a member and they communicate through emails; if you’re interested in the real membership, go to their website as it does give you a discount on the rooms and is useful if you travel a lot.

Caller: Accor Plus I had a call from them. Went through and purchased the membership over the phone. It was legit i redeemed my free night and stayed without complications. They have 2 memberships a free one (ALL) and Accor Plus for 399 (free night + discounts on rooms and dining). I wouldn't recommend you buy it though unless you stay at a hotel at least 3-4 nights in a year or you want to have a 5-star hotel experience for cheap. I was skeptical at first but I asked for proof and they sent me a security email from an official Accor email address so I knew it was legit.

Caller: Accor It’s legit. Accor sell memberships for $399. If you are staying at Hotels it is well worth the $399. Been a member for years. Definitely not a scam

But is the $400 worth it if you are already a silver member? Will I get more discount on stays, a free breakfast etc? It suggests a free night accommodation but unsure if that is offered for Sydney hotels

Caller: Accor To be fair, Accor offer 2 types of membership. The free one is like a flybuys system. You stay, you get points and you use those points for money off your next stay. The paid membership offers much more but is suited to people who travel alot. Yes I work for Accor, no I'm not pushing anyone to purchase the paid membership.

Calls from this number multiple times, finally picked up, the person claimed to be from ACCOR hotel group, suggesting ACCOR membership for $399 a year with incentives. Don’t bother, just go on their website and sign up to be a member for free.
