Calling me about a so called debt from 6years ago. Mentioned to them I have had several rounds of mental shock treatment MST PTSD and am not in a well mental state and this elevates it.
They did not seem to care!
I have had 8 benzodiazepines tonight due to the anxiety they have put me through. Wife concerned!
Stuff them , give them nothing they all just work off commission and don’t really care about people: especially those struggling with ongoing mental illness!

My dad receieved a letter stating that he owes $21,000 to this company.
I decided to give them a call and asked them what the name of the company is and they refused to tell me who they were.
I said "if this was a legitimate business then you would have no problem telling me what the name of this company is".
She went on about privacy issues blah blah blah.
I hung up on her cause I knew this was a scam.
DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THESE SCAMMERS!!!

This is Credit Corp - debt collection agency attempting to recover money by blowing out the phones of third parties that may or may not know the subject of the alledged debt.

They attempt to call parents, siblings, cousins, neighbours, work colleagues, anyone even remotely associated with the subject or their lives in the hope they can get to them. What they do is illegal, and they can safely be ignored.

When a bad debt is passed onto a debt collector, the agency purchases the debt for 10 to 20 cents in the dollar and then attempt to collect the FULL amount from the original borrower (plus interest).

However, what most people are unaware of is that once the debt has been purchased by a third party (in this case Credit Corp), the debt has been expunged for the original borrower, and that is the end of the matter. The only signature from the borrower is on a contract between the bank/credit provider and the borrower. There is no signed contract between a debt collector and the original borrower.

Therefore, do not admit or agree to anything a debt collector says on the phone, as they will attempt to trick you into entering into a contract with them (if you're the original borrower they are after) and try to get you on a 'payment plan'.

The statute of limitations means they can only chase you for a maximum of five years, but if you admit to anything or enter into agreement with them (even verbally), then that resets and you can be harangued another five years or until you've satisfied the needs of these vultures.

Your best bet is to avoid them like the plague, legally they have no clout. All they have is intimidation tactics on the phone. Weak!
They are legally only allowed to call 3 times a week or 12 in a month, but that is IF YOU ANSWER. so answer the call & just hang up & they won't be able to call again.

Caller: Tatiana SCAM CALLER

They have called random 3rd cousins, father, old friends and even my old high school (mind you I finished school many many years ago, I’m 32 now)
I have identity theft and they know this, so I don’t know why they are harassing family and my old girls school. They haven’t called me directly at all and if they aren’t careful I’ll be reporting them to the ombudsman and a current affair for harassment and abuse
This is a test they sent my father
Thank you for your time today, as discussed can you please get R——- to contact Tatiana on (02) 8836 4333 as soon as possible? Thank you for your help.

Had a guy called me from this number and he said he wanted me to volunteer in a "science program" to genetically change my DNA. I will have to seclude myself in their laboratory for a period of 1 year. This is absolutely crazy, these guys are doing some crazy illegal stuff. Stay away and do not pick up their calls.

Agree with above comments. They're from Complete Credit Solutions. Be warned because they're using multiple landlines, including
'Unknown' numbers and 'Private' numbers. They leave voice mails which are inaudible.
Calling at 8pm Saturdays, 9am Sundays and several times a day during business hours, and after COB.
Predatory practices.

interesting, if you are located in victoria and the debt is older than 6 years, then statutory limitation period has expired and they can no longer persue this legally;

This Jamie man called me regarding a so called “unpaid “ debt ! Wouldn’t tell me where he was from. After passing the verification process he said he was a debt collector from complete credit .
He raised his voice and told me to watch out!!! Omg do you believe this. After telling him I didn’t have any savings except $1200 for my child’s school fees and uniform he then said “looks like you will be home schooling” very angry have gone to police and have gotten a report and I recommend this to anyone whom is contacted by these crooks! Go to hell
