I use wireless broadband with Telstra and someone from this number always tries to call. Probably a telemarketer who has no idea it is broadband number.

Crazy

These bastards won't leave me alone.  10 times a day.  If I pick it up, they hang up and will just call back 5 minutes later!

Telstra are more than useless - apparently I have to PAY them before they'll divert a nuisance caller...

Centennial Group - and when you try to leave a voicemail it says 'voicemail unavailable'...

Honestly, I'm going to track these guys down and batter them senseless...  I think it's a fair defense; "and why did you break the Directors nose sir?", "because he harassed me 10 times a day for months on end"...

Arrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!  I will find you and hurt you! STOP CALLING ME!!!

Danny

Received 2 short calls today as well, from this number (02) 8830 0909.

I wasn't able to pickup, the phone only rang 2-3 times before they hungup.

I called them back, it puts me straight to voice mail, The Centennial Group.

Who are they?

Greg

I get at least 2-3 calls from these guys everyday.  Blocked the number on my phone, every time they call it'll go to voicemail from now on.

Natalie

I got a call from (02) 8830 0909 today (and a few times for the last few days). When i pick up they hung up too. Really wonder who they are.

You can't call the (02) 8830 0909 number that is calling you, it just says voicemail unavailable.

However, you can certainly give them a call on 1300 557 908.

I spoke with the Director, who says they are a huge and professional company with hundreds of employees.  Probably why the _Director_ is answering the phone - very big - very professional :-P

Anywho, the Director flat out refuses to remove numbers from the companies lists.  His view was basically if they buy your number on a list, they can call it as much as they want.

In terms of recourse, the only thing you can really do is register with the AMCA (https://www.donotcall.gov.au/) which might exclude you at the source from some of the lists they buy.

Otherwise, I'd simply encourage everyone who gets frustrated by these calls to repeatedly call them back and see how they like it.  Of course they cover themselves by putting an automated message when you call back, so you can't get hold of them, but thankfully some crazy (:-P) person has provided an alternative contact number for you...

Happy dialling - they'll probably be all mad I published their number...  Oh well, payback is a b*tch...
