Phoned the number. Recorded message states "Sorry we missed you, it was a fund raising call from an Australian Charity."
Obviously they are using an autodial system, that disconnects if it gets an answering machine, or a no answer. I'm going to start asking charities if they use this service, and tell them to take me off their calling lists if they are.

They call me even though I am on the DO NOT CALL register.

(02) 8823 3042 - No one there, just hangs up when answered.
Rings every day, over past 3 months.
Had to also bar from my mobile phone, as rings every day, immediately after ringing my landline.

Hmmm....

This number calls every day at the same time; that is 9:30 am (Sydney time).  We never answer.  No message is ever left.  This has been happening for 2 weeks now.  I am contemplating placing a whistle on the phone receiver and blowing it as hard as I can when this number next rings.
