Got a call from this number, a woman asked me my name and I confirmed it was, then she hung up.

I have now registered with DNCR.

Bezz It's a bit hard to do that when all they do is call and hang up. Again and again and again......

3 calls in 15 mins, they is no one there when you answer. so over it..

The people behind this number keep calling, at all times of the day, evening and weekends and they NEVER leave a message but keep trying. How do you stop them from calling!!!

I just had the same experience as Brett. So now they have confirmation of my name, will they stop calling & hanging up when I answer (happens 2-3 times a week, last night 4 times!)?

They just called me and I was busy so sent the call to message they left a message and called back, sent to message again and they left another - To note each time they do not say who they are. I rang the number back and says from modern where I need to leave a message - no way would I ever use them after years of these type of calls I wish they would just buzz away. Talk about bad customer service.

The call just hangs up when answered. It is very time wasting and frustrating. It drives me mad!

it's a call centre for companies such as the Modern Group, who phone every couple months, with typically two calls within the same week. Give them a false name and address and tell them you just given the new phone number last week, so as to get your "real" name out of their database.

for some reason this number keeps ringing me about a minute after i get home from work atleast 2-3 times a week. Dont bother calling back as they will not answer

I got a call every few hours from this number plus faxes too. So annoying. Don't tell them anything. When you do get them on the line just leave them on hold.

I work at 123 , and we get called about this all the time!

Have had 2 calls from (02) 8818 2377 today which hang up when answered. Attempts to call that number immediately resulted in No Response.

Just missed a call from (02) 8818 2377, oh well. With regard to the person 'bezz'. Did they also teach you the English language? U R offensive and so is the initiator of these phone calls.

I think what modern are doing is great..... and correct, any exposure is good exposure ;)To the people on here who claim to be on the DNCR? modern does not and CANNOT call people who are genuinely on the DNCR, they have washing processes in place to make sure it cannot happen.....DNCR regulationg: times telemarketers can call Mon-Frid 9am-8pm sat 9-5pm                             Telemarketers cannot call u on a sunday or outside of these hours.....Being on the DNCR is valid for 3 yrs only.... and after registering u must reply to the email they send u within the 30 days for your registration to be vaild!!!NOW... can you people get off your high horses, do the right thing, ask to be taken off the list BY A MANAGER or register on the DNCR and stop giving an AWESOME company a bad name!!!!!

I am a PROUD ex employee of the modern group and i shall let u all know, they are a great company to work for and an even better company to do business with.  

If u hate recieving telemarketing calls, then why have you not registered with the DNCR???? quite obviously it is not THAT much of a problem and u r looking for an excuse to whinge....

By giving bad publicity to a company you have not ever dealt with is down right RUDE!

I have had a few calls from this number (88182377). I have phoned back but, no answer, and the ringing sound is not normal. Who are these people?
