guys from Uber Eats called me with this number (02) 8806 1781

Attempted to call me at 12:48am. Possible scam using an Australian number?

Caller: BWS delivery person

Legit call from the BWS Delivery driver

reading that its uber eats yet I have never never ordered anything with them

I had a missed call from this number in the middle of the day (no Uber Eats order placed, and I was at work) so not sure that this is still Uber Eats. No message was left and seemed suspicious

Caller: They said that they are from PayPal

They said that they are rom PayPal and that there is a $900 Transaction pending from my account and I need to take action by pressing on the 1 on my phone. I don't have a PayPal account, this is definitely a scam call.

when I answer with a male voice they hang up

I got a call from this number on the 5th Sept at 12:20pm but didn't pick it up as it was a Sydney number and our business is local to Brisbane. No message left and it's been a while since I used Uber anything so unsure.

It was my BWS delivery driver with my alcohol delivery

Caller: Uber eats

Its a number that used by Uber eats to cover the actual number of the drivers

Can confirm it's Uber Eats

Caller: UberEATS

Number is UberEATS. Don't forget y'all food.

It is Uber Eats, received a call from this number to verify my details with the driver.

I tried to ring back the number (02) 8806 1781 but reached a silent voice mail
