commonwealth bank scam call

Didn't recognise number so I didn't answer. Declined call and checked here to see it was a scam.

claimed to be from my visa and mastercard department - I just hung up

Unsolicited Chinese recording - nuisance call. Phone recognised as "Potential Fraud" - did not answer, but left voice recording in chinese

Claimed to be from nbn security and will fix my speed but hung up when I said I’m busy and will write it down and fix later

Caller: Vodaphone

Claimed my service would be cut. Phoned number rang through as Origin energy. Hung up. Obvious scam.

I've seen a huge increase of fake / scam /fraud job listings everywhere you go on Facebook, my feed, marketplace and even members only groups are riddled with these obvious scammer created fake job listings, and although it's obvious to myself that they are fake I can certainly understand how unsuspecting people can get caught out, but that being said I must admit that I've never seen these listings on Seek before? The thing is this, on Facebook literally anyone can list as many jobs as they want for free however to list on SEEK Employers need to sign up and are verified as legitimate Australian Businesses as well as have to pay listing fees for each job they list which is how they have managed to keep scammers and fraudulent activity off the website, so are you say this is no longer the case?

Rang me on a Saturday Afternoon. Didn't answer as i didn't know the number and they didn't leave a message. Blocked now.

I am so sick of looking for work on Seek and all I seem to get is my details stolen to use for scammers wonder if any of these other ppl have been looking for employment lately too. So many “jobs” advertised that are not real jobs….

Was just called by (02) 8776 3857 (4 July 2023 @ 13.32pm), my phone marked this number as "potential fraud", so I didn't answer, and no message was left. I also didn't recognise the number.

Scam! A guy said that he was calling from Vodafone Centre. But I am a customer with Optus!
Definitely a scam call.

Automated message purporting to be from Chinese embassy and then a whole lot of Chinese I wouldn’t have a clue what was said

First of four calls from unrecognised numbers to the landline today, no message left. Reporting here and no surprised to see its already reported

Claimed to be from CommBank checking a pending international transaction on my account. VERY clever in how they were wording things. BIG SCAM
