Did not answer as it was from an unknown number and my detailed have been leaked through a number of recent company hacks. Based on the comments on this site, very confident it is a scammer. Have now blocked the number.

Caller: Claimed to be from security department for Visa

They tried to tell me that I made an international purchase last night through Amazon. I told them they were BS and they hung up.

Caller: Supposedly PAYPAL direct payments

This number just purported to be from PAYPAL direct payments & wanted me to press 1 to approve a payment for $999 or 2 to decline.....hung up.

Caller: Did not leave a message

Rang around 1.50 pm today…did not leave a message….my contact details were sold via Medibank private hack and latitude hack…..this is a scam

Scam call from amazon

Scam call claiming to be from NBN and that my account was being hacked because of popups. Kept wanting to download an app to my phone and when I said I'd call my NBN provider direct he told me to get f'd.

Rang just after 8 am. Who does this? Answered, but the typical recorded call centre sound was the only thing I got.
