nbn appointments check Caller: Someone who I could not understand very well ?
Turns out they are calling to confirm an NBN installation, that has already been confirmed. They should not be calling anyone unless they have been given authority to do so by the person they are calling? I am ver getting random calls during business hours from random companies. They BSA are a Nuisance I do need or want to hear from.
NBN instillation confirmation. Perhaps a TPG third party. Caller: Renee from BSA
Extremely rude and pushy call from BSA demanding I provide personal information to confirm an NBN installation appointment (that had previously been confirmed). Upon refusing to provide I was told that NBN would be told I did not want to proceed with the appointment.
My service provider confirmed that BSA have no authority to do this and that personal information should not be shared with this company.
Caller: BSA - NBN
Missed a called from (02) 8748 2400, not that i answer numbers i dont know til i check them out, the left a msg to call back on 1800 290 600, after i did alittle research, seemed legit enough, called them back, just asked for my address straight away, if a need or had a coaxial connection installed for nb-hfc connection, nothing person asked, then confirmed when my appointment is and said bye.. was like rapid fire questions, maybe 5 of 6 in total and thats it. call was over in 30secs..
so all good..
Caller: Optus perhaps
I received a phone call from (02) 8748 2400 around 1:45pm 6/01/2020. A female caller claimed the call was to confirm my NBN installation, that has already been confirmed. I told this female caller that, "I have confirmed more than 5 times. How many times do you want me to confirm?! I can see there are 11 complaints against (02) 8748 2400." This female caller responded that "I'll mark you have refused the installation." As soon as she said this, she cut my phone off. I then received a SMS from 0419 976 563, "Hi you have an appointment booked in for NBN on 8/01/2020. Our contact number is 1800 290 600 opt1 Regards".
I have been previously contacted via an Optus staff via Optus Messages who instructed me to contact him by sending him a message on Optus Message App if I have any queries or issued. Optus Track My Order also indicated that my NBN order had been confirmed and NBN appointment had been scheduled prior this phone call from (02) 8748 2400.
This seems like a third party call. If so, I agree that Optus should not share my contact details unless I have been given authority to do so by me. I am also very sick of getting random calls and am sick of being harassed for sharing my private lifestyle information such as pets, access for vehicle on site etc.. On a separate issue, this female caller is extremely unprofessional. So I have reported to Optus for making a formal complaint against this female.
They should be called BS not BSA. Caller: BSA re NBN connection
We are having nbn connected - already confirmed. This was to fill out a questionaire from BSA re I dion't know because I couldn't understand her and I hung up
Nbn connection company seeking info about cable connections, pets, access for vehicle on site etc Caller: BSA Limited (02) 8748 2400
They left an automated message saying my connection would be disconnected. It asked to press 1 to connect to a technician. I already recontracted with another company weeks ago. Annoying! I rang their number and operator sounded confused, then hung up. Toting for business. Add to DNC register!!!
They're an NBN contractor calling to verify details about property access for installation (parking, pets, etc) - pretty reasonable. The correct return number for them is 1800 290 600.
Caller: NBN Installation
NBN company calling to check appointment time for NBN even though already confirm 3 times via sms.
Not spam. They were ringing to confirm access for the technician etc for my upcoming NBN installation.
Caller: ndb installation comfirmnation
left me a number 1800 090 600. call back operator say number disconnected.
even when i already confirmed a msg about the appointment two day before
Caller: NBN Installation
I always check out numbers before answering and block if unwarranted, but this is the NBN company ringing up prior to the technician appointment.
They simply ask questions around the premises. For example, any animals, is the property under construction and your current provider.
Received after hours call.... didn't answer. I do have appt with NBN tech but I shouldn't be getting called until day tech is coming by. Don't intend on answering if they call again rang to confirm NBN installation and advised someone needed to be home when this occurred which I had been told previous was not necessary. They now know no one will be home during this period BSA - NBN installer Foxtel needs to stop its contractors phoning people on the do not call register. Yes the same! Received two calls in a row from (02) 8748 2400 all while I was with my clients. I would like to see introduced the same DO NOT CALL REGISTER set up for mobile phones, and business faxes. Also getting sick of companies faxing their stuff wasting my paper and ink! got a call on both my mob & landline, called back get a msg bank think it says USA ltd, but cant understand it
