My internet is showing fraud & hacking. They were calling to fix it…hung up

left message saying was Anton calling notifying me that my hammers prime services ???would be auto updated to $99.99.......blocked and deleted

Caller: Robocall supposedly from eBay

SCAM robocall saying they are calling from eBay

Scammer looking for an apparent "payment" that was owed. Laughed at them and hung up.

Caller: "Ebay" - allegedly

I got exactly the same call from the same number today - 6 April - I don't understand why this number can't just be blocked by telstra or whomever manages the number allocation. It's a normal old Sydney phone number.

Indian woman Called saying “calling about your Telstra internet”,,, funny that because we don’t have Telstra internet.

Goodbye scammer.

Pretend to be Amazon Prime said your subscription to be renewed want you to hit their cancellation department.

Did not pick up as it was an unknown number. No message left.

States an automated ebay message, requesting a payment of $299 and that it will be deducted from your account automatically. At which point I hung up.

Telstra tech dept. Fraud Scam

Said a $500 payment was made to California USA to a James Smith. He said James wanted to give it back....Used CBA as the account used. I don't bank with CBA, they don't have my details. Was a confusing conversation. I hung up.

Tried to tell me people were misusing my internet which is password protected. Suspected scam

Amazon fake call asking for subscription renewal

Fraudulent

Dunno, was driving at the time. Hung up using Blue tooth, then got a loud buzzing on the in car unit.

Said they were Telstra and receiving feedback messages of a problem with my internet service. I asked her to email copy of concerns she hung up.
