I just got a call from a Rita who called from a private number. She asked me if I knew a person that I only met a few days ago. She said he gave my name and number as a family member or friend. She sent me a text from mobile number 0477 230 030 saying "As discussed, here are my contact details. Rita, (02) 8651 5506. Can you please pass them on to .............(my friends name). He has never heard of Rita and has absolutely no idea what it is about. I believe it is a scam!!

These people call me chasing a family member. I managed to get their number and followed up. It is a debt collection company.

Unscrupulous tactics calling people inlaws of relatives of people. This company needs to be reported, have done it to numerous family members.

This Sydney number appears to connect to an Indian call centre who tries to sell you Internet. Very questionable tactics of ringing family members looking for another family member. DO NOT answer calls from this number, block them from your phone.

Scam call asking for a relative to call them. They only give their first name. They claimed they had sent the relative an email a week prior and were not able to give me more information due to privacy restrictions. Beware calls from this number.
