I keep getting calls from this number and when I tell the indian guy on the other end that I don't have a citi bank card, he hangs up on me. I've blocked this number on my phone, yet it still keeps getting through.

Why do they keep calling and when you answer the call, it sounds like a very busy call center, however no one speaks, they just keep ringing, when you don't get to the call they don't leave a message, isn't there a limit to how many times they can call and harass someone?

It is marketing for citibank... I have spoken to them as I hit my screen just as they started calling... she seems flustered that I had answered but she said she was from citibank and did I have time to talk.... I said no... mind you I still get calls from them everyday 4-5 times a day sometimes the number just flashes up then hang up..... yes also number 8098 8500 is citi bank marketing

is this a legit call about over due credit card! I am going to pay mine out and cancel it if it is, who has time to be chasing people who leave no return number or even leave a mesage

I chose not to answer a call from this number as it was during my work hours, no message was left. My phone rang again straight after, a private number (which I never answer) the message left was a man singing, runaway runaway runaway poor girl. Twice over...

It is an automated call system operated by Citibank.

I have had 2 calls from this number on successive days. The first time I answered, they claimed to be Citibank and to hold for an operator. I did not hold as I do not have any business with Citibank.

I keep getting calls and voice mails but no messages from this no and when I called it back it immediately disconnected. I don't have a Citi bank credit card so don't know who this is.

This number (02) 8624 1000 called my number. I missed the call and I rang back and my phone carrier said in a recorded message the number I rang was disconnected. How can a number be disconnected but called my phone starting from 11am until 4pm every hour in between.

So annoyed with this phone call. Ringing 7 - 8 times day. Seriously getting very stressful

They call me all day, every day.
Think my credit card is overdue. I never answer it.

This morning my mother received a call from 02 8624100 claiming to be citi bank. However when I contacted citi bank to contact them, on behalf of my mother, citi bank could not verify or even taken note of this incident. Very annoyed as a customer, at least citi bank could of taken note of this number.

Same, when I answer, nobody on the other end. I do have a CitiBank facilitated credit card but am tempted to cancel it now. Very annoying- at least 5 calls a day.

Same here, they call everyday - you can be sure I will give nothing on this occasion!

I am getting 7 - 10 calls a day from (02) 8624 1000, they have no return number that works, when they call there isn't anyone on the other end. The other day on one of the websites to see who they are, it was a call centre that have a huge number of charities attached to this centre. what these organisations don't understand that people will not end up donating anything to any charities once it is well known that this is how they go about some of their bad practices. If I could get hold of the moron that put my name on their call register I would slap them into next week. this problem needs to be addressed.

These mongrels also leave a voice message with nothing on it, Costing me money to pick up the message!!!

It is time this is dealt with. I am getting 4 to 8 times a day from this number, if I could find out where the bastards are based I would give everyone their address.

why the hell are they using a number that you cant call back.
