These criminals have been blowing up my phone all week. Rang them back after informing the AFP and the REAL ATO as to what was going on and provided Sydney number and details. When I rang back and told them what I thought of their criminal activity I was threatened with "harassment". Obviously doesn't understand what the word means as they have been harassing me all week - absolute dirt bags.

Can't the provider block this number? Over the past few days we've had six or seven calls.

Yep, this Jason has been calling me for two weeks. Today I've had 5 messages left on my machine. Now I'm being threatened with an arrest warrant. Doesn't know which state I live in though, so it's gonna be hard for the 'local police' to serve me.

From this number (02) 8607 5071 saying there's an issue for my arrest and I will be prosecuted by the ATO for tax evasion. His name is Matthew.

ATO Scammer, have reported to Telstra and they have blocked the number for me and will follow up. They deal with the police etc on your behalf so please report things like this to your phone provider. They do take it seriously

I have already had an argument with this fool a few weeks ago and yet they continue ringing....several times a day, every day!!! Same as the above, claiming to be from the ATO, a warrant for my arrest, blah blah blah...and yet he didn't know my name. Got very abusive when I wouldn't give it to him.

Yes the same Mathew has a legal case against me!!!
Is there a govt. complaint service for these nuisances?

I had the same message left on my landline saying the court order for my arrest by local police will in the way if I don't contact this person. His English is so poor I couldn't pick up the name he said it was from ato

Yep, same guy taking me to court... I didn't call the number given, because I knew it was a scam. Why can't the authorities follow up and trace this number and throw the scammer into the slammer?

Just had a message left on our answer machine from Matthew Logan said he has a warrant out for arrest to us for tax avoidance and taking us to court. left the number and wanted us to call back to avoid going to court. Its not from the tax office at all , its a scam.
