Caller: Scammer claiming to be Optus

This number is claimed to be the “billing department” of Optus. First a lady with Indian accent (with call centre background noise) called me from (02) 9071 2869, offering a percentage off my mobile bill for the next 4 months. Then she texted me a verification code, after which she asked for my DOB to “activate the discount”. When I questioned her motives, she insisted she had to get my DOB to activate the account before she could send me the confirmation email. When I asked for a number to call back to verify her claims she quickly gave me this number, claiming it’s the billing department.
I hung up and called the real Optus to verify and of course they said there’s no such offer. So beware!

I called back the number (02) 8607 5001 but was routed automatically to an ivr

Foreign caller offering 30% off next 3 phone bills with Optus. Requested pin sent to phone number (was from Optus MSG) but did not know any details about me including my name.

I received a call from this number claiming to be Optus and offering me money off my bill. A lady with an Indian accent wanted my DOB and email address. I said she should have all of that if she is from Optus. I said I was not happy giving her the information without proof of whom she was and she said she would email me.
no email arrived.

Lady claiming to be Optus, saying I’m eligible for 30% off the next four months of bills, and that she would send a text and I would need to verify the PIN. Didn’t get the text and knew it was a scam anyway so I hung up.

Claimed to be Optus and offering a 30% discount. Female voice with (presumably) indian accent. When I said I don't have an Optus number she said "i'm so sorry" and hung up.

Scam call. Offered money off my optus bill but requested I provide her with a code she sent me (to the same number she was talking to live) when I asked if I could apply online she started pulling the "don't understand" card.

Claiming I am getting a discount with optus but then asking me to confirm a pin they sent to me... mid phonecall to the same number the rang. Caller was not fluent in English and could not understand me.

SCAM, called announcing she was from Vodafone, she had an Indian or similar sounding accent, and sounded like she was aged approximately in her 20s or 30s, when I told her I was not with Vodafone she said "Oh OK and hung up".

I told her I’m not with Vodafone and she hung up immediately

Scam, said she’s from Vodafone and asked me for my PIN. Lucky I didn’t fall into it
