This charity is relentless. I gave $30 as a one-off donation, I felt pressured to do so as the young man came into the store I work at on Military road, Mosman and spoke for 15 minutes about why I should donate. I have had endless calls since then. I block every call I get from them, they keep resurfacing with different numbers, which I continue to block.

I am an 82 year old pensioner who made a major mistake last year when I gave $30 (the minimum amount, I was told) to a very personable young person in the street of ..... I was thinking of the 21 year old son I lost and thought I might be helping some other mother). For the rest of that fortnight, my meals had to be even more meagre than usual.
Since then, I have had persistent begging calls from these people. Today was one of the worst: I had to interrupt the called several times to curb the flow of requests/descriptions of donation methods! I explained my circumstances and made clear that the previous donation had necessarily been a 'one off'. She persisted with her requests (demands?), repeating again and again all the different ways I could donate -even after I had pointed out that I just could not! I even told her that I, myself, had been 'assessed (via a request from my doctor) the day before, for the possibility of physical/financial assistance. She continued to repeat her 'spiel'.
These calls are harassment/bullying.. I am in a better position than many who are perhaps less technologically literate, yet I have been extremely upset by them.
The operator involved is either extraordinarily lacking in empathy (especially as she involved with a 'charitable' organisation), or she is lacking in basic intelligence. An alternative explanation could be that she is one of many who are employed to harass the most vulnerable people in society.

I too made a one off donation and these people keep calling me. Every time I block their number they call me on another. They never leave a message but listen long enough to activate voice mail.

Allanah and Madeline foundation - persistent calls so blocked the number.
