I called back number (02) 8597 9209 reached IVR for a company called RSPCA.

Caller: Unsolicited charity caller, possibly scam.

Charity callers please be advised... When I feel I am in a financial position to make a donation I will call you, OK? In the meantime, try some of the esteemed members of Parliament, they make heaps for doing stuff all.

I don't think it is the RSPCA it's just a bunch of arseholes pretending to be them

I received a scam call alleging that a phone number I applied for was implicated in misconduct. The caller was incredibly aggressive, accusing me of registering a phone number and violating regulations without my awareness. It was a clear case of fraud, so I blocked the number. Oddly enough, despite numerous online reports of this number being used for scams, it continues to be active.

I didnt bother answering as I know its one of the dodgy mob wanting donations for their lifestyles. I am on the Do Not Call list yet they still ring. Unless I know the number or they live a LEGIT message, I dont bother.

Selling “raffle tickets” from RSPCA then asked for donation if the sale didn’t go through. Don’t answer!

I have blocked this number, again. I already help out several local animal rescues with a no-kill policy. I'm a bit over the RSPCA. I have bought their tickets before under sufferance. Never saw any results or heard anymore. How legit is it?
