Same experience as comments as above. Sinister harassment. Expect their agents at our doors demanding obedience if this keeps up. They already come to the homes of the Tibetan community in Australia and threaten them to their faces to do as China says or their relatives in China will be harassed, arrested imprisoned and tortured.

Picked up call, automated Chinese voice.

Got a call from 0441191833. Retrieved voicemail and it was a message in Chinese. About half an hour later I got a call from (02) 8595 8002 also leaving a message in Chinese. I have never been nor have any current plans to go to China.

Got call from (02) 8595 8002, didn’t recognise number but answered, got recorded female voice speaking message in what seemed to be Chinese. I am not Chinese, don’t speak it and haven’t given anybody Chinese my mobile number. I usually give out my landline as my contact number, so not sure how they got my mobile number.

I heard on the news about this phone scam targeting numerous Australians and new zealanders saying it's from the Chinese embassy. Apparently it asks for you to call a number in Beijing.

Same stupid Robocall, sadly in Chinese which I don't understand.

i received a call from this number also.. and message left was in an Asian language and then I called the number back and the greeting message was also in Asian..

same too received missed call (02) 8595 8002 don't answer

I received a call from (02) 9025 2802 last Thursday with a Chinese automated message (googled the number and it was Chineese Embassy in Canberra) so I blocked that number and then received a call this morning from (02) 8595 8002. I'll block this one now...not sure if its a scam and what to do now.
