must be scammer Tuesday 2nd scam call in 20 mins this one is supposed to be the Consulate General of the People Republic's of China in Sydney number/

received a call early morning did not answer they did not leave a message scammer.

Some chinese speaking woman at 8.11. again.. I have blocked the number.

Same thing happened to me, very much a scam call from a Chinese woman. I was left a message, so did not speak to them.

Got a call this morning as well. Date 11/06/2018. Picked up and it was a automated voice message in mandarin or cantonese? im not sure but pretty sure it has chinese roots. Have received calls from suspicious numbers one too many times this past few months. Im not sure if our phone numbers are being sold off by the telco companies or whether they are being obtained through some dodgy methods. I can easily see some innocent middle aged person being scammed by such calls if they are not street smart or aware of such scams. Very frustrating and i wish the telco companies / legislation did more to protect our numbers

Got the Chinese call a few times this month now. They actually blocked the number on the first go so I answered (lesson learnt), I have blocked them from the 3rd try today. Not sure what it is about but they can't really get a lot of info from me just from me answering. Also, I use a temporary number while on business.

Caller: Some scammy chinese

Answered a call from this number which was a recorded message in chinese. I pressed 1, just cause I thought that would make sense and got through to someone else speaking chinese.
I asked who he was and he asked if I spoke chinese. When I answered, no, he hung up.

Seems like this is a current scam where they try and leave a message saying you have a fine and try to scam you out of cash. Fyck these maggots. Hang up and block the number.

Got a call this morning but missed it. ID is showing Consulat .... but automated msg left in Chinese. I do not speed Chinese and I am not one either. Not sure what to do with this call.
