I called BigPond technical support on behalf of someone, from my own landline, which isn't Telstra, & IS silent (unlisted, doesn't show on caller ID). I know caller ID works for silent numbers for telcos so they can supply it to courts, emergency services etc, but are they allowed to use it for surveys? Are they obliged to do this by some regulatory body?
Was given option to press "1" if I didn't call them, or hold for survey. I just hung up.

Telstra WHAT F...WITS called me 2 times and hung up when i picked up. When i called back to hear it was them i hung up... what rude f.... like they want u to help them but at our cost WTF??? i signed up and i was told for 4 days someone would be out to hook my home phone up and only today someone came out today!!!! Had enough already...

I was in a home interview for work with a client when i received 5 missed calls from this number, absolutely ridiculous...I am already giving Telstra mymoney why annoy me with these ridiculous calls.

this number calls and hangs up when you answer .i have allready reported this number as a nuisance and unwanted call to telstra this year.

They are at it again! Just got my first and would like to think last phone call from this number. But I am sure it won't be. I do not have any products with Telstra but recently rang them to arrange a phone connection for my father who is in a nursing home. Gave them my mobile numer as a contact for the technician!!! Thanks to everyone for posting the previous comments as now I know who is calling and will be sure not to answer. I don't have time for their harassment.
