Caller: Someone claiming to be from Telstra or an affiliate Claimed to have been contacted by Telstra to alert me that my IP address had been compromised and I needed to make it private. Asked me to download an app that facilitates remote access which would have enabled him to access all everything on my phone

Caller: Scammer A call centre call. As above, claimed they worked for Telstra and that my IP address was compromised. They knew my surname. I just asked is it something I can do in the app myself as this was an unsolicited call and the call could be a scammer. But they hung up at that.
