Indeed iiNet pretending to call from Sydney but obviously from Phillippines. In response to a complaint I made about the lack of communication over a weekend internet outage that lasted 60 hours. Just trotted out the usual mantra that it was NBN's fault not theirs, and that my complaint would be passed to "management." God knows where they are - the last time I had cause to contact iiNet I was dealing with South Africa.
Stay away from iiNet if you can - the "Australian company" that isn't.

That's a very good point. Why is this website NOT reflecting this number as belonging to iinet. No wonder we get our phone numbers spoofed.Even iinet does it to feign being in NSW, when really they are cheap labour in offshore centres. TPG, destroying thousands of Australian support jobs every day.All in the name of profit.

Sleazy incompetent faux Australian company who allows strangers in offshore call centrers access to you ID,emails and everything else going through theri email system, while you are not allowed to ask for the full name of who YOU are speaking to. Are these people police checked by the AFP? Guess.

Now you know why you get so many scams via landline, sms and email. Your life is co-opted out by a pretend Australian ISP

iiNet number, calling in response to a complaint I made regarding lack of service. English with a foreign accent - I see from this page that it was indeed a call from the Philippines. In response to my complaint about lack of communication during a weekend internet outage that lasted 60 hours. Waste of time, just repeating the mantra that the lack of communication was from NBN but that my complaint would be raised with management - God knows what country they are in. Last time I had a problem I had to deal with a South African call centre.
Stay away from iiNet if you possibly can - an "Australian company" that isn't.

Unintelligible and not able to interpret the foreign language, so not a clue what the call was about.
