Multiple call from this number with recorded message saying it was Olivia from the Commonwealth Bank, and I needed to confirm or reject an $1800 transaction, for my account. Spoke with local branch of Comm Bank - scam

85307786 Recorded message saying they were from Paypal asking if a payment 'I had requested' for $799 (from memory) was legitimate? Press 1 for "no" 2 for "yes". That took me to a youngish-soinding female with an older-sounding talking in background (sounded asian).
I have blocked the number.
But what do bet I get more variations on 8530 . . .?

this number and similar digit numbers just keep coming. scammer or spoofers. how come in todays technology where you have a mobile phone you are basically carrying a tracking device and have no control over the illegal use of such. by whoever. my carrier is TELSTRA come on. give your customers an avenue to report so you. as a res[ponsible telco company can investigate and remove. nnnnaaahhh. its worth to many $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. to you. stuff the customer. they are little cash fish just keep milking them.

i hang up on this number,and then it rang me again,and hung up again,when i went to ring the number back it couldnt be contactable so i blocked the number.

Said they were from my bank to authorise a transaction but i’m not with the institution they supposedly from. I strung them along & they got mad at me & hung up
