Telling me the nab is checking a transfer to Blake Edwards call this number to check. Doubtful 😡 A scam if ever I saw one

Just got a similar message for a transfer "placed on hold" to a name that is well known. The number identifies itself as coming from 'nab'. I don't and have never had an account with NAB. Obvious scam.

Caller: Overseas person answered. When asked where they were based was a delay then said NSW. Scam Same as other scam notice but Tfer to Tom Holland. Who TF is that? Called NAB & confirmed scam as not their number.

Same - just happened today. Saying external transfer to 'Tom Holland' placed on hold and to call this number - definitely dodgy as all get out.
