Phishing text supposedly from Credit Provider (HSBC in this case) "Your payment of **** AUD to *** ****** has been held for security reasons. If you haven’t attempted this transaction please contact us on (02) 8527 5092. Otherwise please allow 24 hours for your payment to be submitted."
I love these ones - I block my CLID and give them a call back at 3:45am. This guy has recorded HSBC's recorded messages and it plays when you make the call and he keeps you on hold for a few minutes so that it feels legit. You can still tell you got him out of bed/woke him up when he answers :-) rather than as the operator straight off another call. He sounds very British. I put on a voice and go into a panic about how I want him to stop the payment immediately. He tries very hard to Phish for personal details. Each time he starts to pressure me for a piece of information, I start to give him something false and then go back into the panic about stopping the payment and how distressed I am. My favourite was getting 9 digits into a (made up) credit card number and then starting the panic again :-) . He got really annoyed. This guy has a short fuse and is easy to rattle if you're up for a bit of fun

Looks like scam claiming to be from HSBC credit card. Number is NOT in HSBC website.
