Caller: Purported to be 'NBN'

Delayed response and heavy Indian accent - VOIP call.
Claimed to be from NBN, and that they'd sent me a security update a month ago, and I hadnt installed it.
He wanted to know why?
I said 'Because I dont install random crap from Scammers!'..
He wanted to know why I thought he was a scammer?
I said that the list was long - delayed/VOIP call, number from a block of similar recently, the bogus crap he was selling me, etc etc.
He then said he wasnt trying to sell me ANYTHING!
I suggested the virus he would like to give me wasnt going to be free!

In a very tired, jaded and clinical voice, he tells me 'It's just Business - We GIVE you the virus, and then SELL you the inoculation. It's nothing more than just Business.'
At that point he hung up.
Probably the most concise account of the business model they follow...
Kinda tragic that these people have made me completely suspicious of any unknown numbers calling me..
Very similar call from (02) 8257 2997 a few days later, though the gent hung up before we got to discuss their business model..

Getting scam calls from (02) 8527 2996 and (02) 8527 2999 a few minutes apart. Flagged as scam by Google.

Said there were strange withdrawals on our account, money being taken out to various places. Husband hung up on them.
