Bloody annoying. If it is the NSW Fire Brigade I have asked them several times before to take me off their list.
They've been calling me almost every day for weeks now!.

I am the same they ring numerous times and when my answering machines connects they hang up, try and ring the number back and it says its disconnected. Hmmm telemarketers who knows?

Two calls today from this number - no-one talks. It must be on a rotating speed dial. It's getting really annoying. Can they be reported to anyone?

I received a call on this number today (Jan 13, 2011.  Rural Firefighters after a donation. I think the same number is used for many seeking donations. Is it genunie?  I don't know

I've been phoned several times now by (02) 8524 5981. I don't answer it and they never leave a message on the machine. Anyone know who it is?

They are genuine. I used to donate once a year, until I started getting calls at least 2 times a year asking to donate. It's all too much when you get asked to donate for this and that plus trying to keep your own family above water.

i just got a call then from this number and they didn't seem to want to talk to me...

I answered the other day and they said the were from the NSW Fire Brigade but they didn't want to talk to me they wanted to talk to my husband, I figure it's for a donation or something because the credit card is in his name :)
