This number called me today. He said he was calling for donations on behalf of the volunteer fire brigade

They call and don't leave a message - I am on the "don't call register" and have been for a long time. Am blocking now

This number has started calling me again after a hiatus of about 5+ years, they don't even bother to leave a message. Not wasting my time calling back.

The 5900 number calls me on my mobile. I guess they must have plenty of money to be able to call mobile numbers. I didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a message on message bank.

Also calling from 5990 ring back and its a disconnected number. I am on the do not call database but it doesnt cover charities.

Had a break from this caller since my last one in May but got one today at 1:30pm - Have saved the number and programmed it in my home digital phone under the heading "spam caller" . so far I've saved 3 numbers like this but each time they call now I just look at the id screen on my phone and ignore it. that way it doesn't waste any of my time. the numbers I've accumulated now are as follows:

Made a mistake of donating once and now hounded 2-3 times a day. Very disappointing to learn how my money is being spent - pesty phone calls. Lesson learnt

check you phone bills, a reverse call charge credit scheme, ranges from 11cents to 23cents per call.you phone bills say you called them.They accumulate call credits by time, imagine this, they call thousands of numbers per day, every answered call registered by reverse charge gives them a call credit of approx between 30 seconds to 1 minute. they accumulate thousands of hours of call credits and guess what, they go on sale, as phone cards, the ones you see in indian,chinese and lebo shops.great mind, whoever thought of this scam, but do you know who it is, its your telco

Call came in so I checked here and saw it was spam. Let the call go to VM and it left no message. Now added this number to my spam black list.
