Caller: "GEM Visa" "This is a message for <MY FULL NAME> from the GEM Visa Fraud Department. You were born in <YEAR>, to confirm your identity please enter the day and month".
Sounded suspicious so I didn't enter it. The company also changed their name to Latitude Finance also so they would have used that name. I advise everyone not to enter their date or birth. There was no suspicious transactions when I checked my online statement.

Caller: Latitude/Gem Visa I rang Latitude/Gem Visa back through their fraud 1300 number to double check. It is a legitimate call to confirm a purchase. If you get this message and have not made a purchase you should be concerned.

Caller: (02) 8488 4954 Latitude Fraud Team They do call you if you press “2” or confirm it’s a fraud transaction on your sms alerts. I can confirm it’s them because I’ve had this twice before and my card cancelled the moment I pressed “2” on my latitude app. Also. What scammer makes you wait 45 minutes on a call back lol

Caller: Scam Definitely a scam. The latitude numbers for Australia are not the number they get you to ring. It asks for your account number and DOB. Latitude is also a known number that should show as latitude in your phone through call or SMS. This number does not.
